Zindae is one player who was probably never exceptional at the surface, but his impact in a game is much deeper. He is one of the very few players who makes people around him look good without overdoing anything. If you look at France vs Brazil game of WC 2006 and analyze every movement and passes of Zidane, he was outstanding. But considering that he doesn't do much dribble or outrun any defenders, he may not look that impressive if you are just looking superficially. He is what you call a true playmaker. Riquelme is another but not as strong and consistent as Zidane.
